Welcome to the first Fresh AiR Podcast!
We got together to do a sound check and after half an hour of laughing and discussing various topics we decided to just hit record and enjoy the conversation!
As such, this show is a little bit of a mish mash so please forgive a few mind blanks haha.

In this show we cover a number of items such as:
- Who we are and our theological position
- The various definitions of Atheism, and when they originated
- Agnosticism
- Reasons Atheists might debate
- Popular insults and errors both theists and atheists make e.g. dunning kruger
- Words changing (including a southpark reference)
- Behaviours that give atheists a bad name
- Bias
- Headline Culture
- Stupid Comment of the Week
Hope you enjoy the show!

What a really amazing discussion here…totally lived up to being “fresh air” on the topic rather than the same old rhetoric and narrative I hear daily!
Thank you for the shout out and very kind words about my videos on this very subject!
-Steve McRae
Wow Steve, thanks for the kind words – the shout out was definitely deserved, posts from you were some of the items that got me to consider my language and definitions in the first place, then I hand a lengthy chat with Dave on the matter which spawned a number of philosophical chats, articles, and indeed the decision to do Fresh AiR!
Thanks for the very kind words, Steve, and thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the podcast! Thank you so much for posting about it on Twitter as well, we’re really grateful. We’re glad you found it interesting, and different to the usual rhetoric and narrative. That’s exactly what we’re hoping for! There’s so many people that basically just repeat the same talking points, and get their ideas from echo chambers, that we want to show that there are opinions that are very different outside of those echo chambers but still within the atheist community. Also, it’s good to meet you as well, have been a fan for quite a while. #stevekickspuppies!
This was a truly refreshing (no pun intended) discussion on a subject I have been talking about for many years. I look forward to future episodes.
Cheers,
– Ozy
Thanks Ozy, the kind words are truly appreciated.
Hope you’ll enjoy future casts!
Hi Ozy! Thanks for taking the time to listen to the podcast, am very honoured! Have been a huge fan of your work for a very long time, and funnily enough am currently watching your discussion with Alex Malpass and Matt Dillahunty! It’ll probably take us a few episodes to get properly into the swing of things, but hopefully you’ll enjoy our future discussions as well. We’re trying to bring slightly different arguments and discussions to those usually disseminated through the atheist community!
