Trusting people is embedded in us from birth. We trust our parents to do everything for us. They are the definitive authority on EVERYTHING. As we grow older we are taught to respect our elders and to listen to our teachers. Everyone seems to be in a category of “bigger & older = knows better” – and you accept it. Why wouldn’t you? These people have taught you everything you know; to speak, to read, to write, to eat… everything....
